PRE – SCHOOL
REQUIREMENTS FOR PRE – SCHOOL
1. An applicant must be:
- Nursery – at least three (3) years old
- Kinder 1 – at least four (4) years old
- Kinder 2 – at least five (5) years old on or before August 31 as per DepEd Order no. 47, s. 2016. as amended by DepEd Order no. 20, s. 2018.
2. Two (2) copies of birth certificate (one original and one photocopy issued by the National Statistics Office/NSO)
3. Personal interview by the Admission Committee representatives.
ELEMENTARY
EQUIREMENTS FOR GRADE ONE
- At least six (6) years old on or before August 31 of the current school year (as per DepEd Order no. 47, s. 2016. as amended by DepEd Order no. 20, s. 2018 )
- Report card from the Kindergarten last attended;
- Two (2) copies of birth certificate (one original and one photocopy issued by the National Statistics Office/NSO);
- School’s entrance examination result;
- Two copies of 2 x 2 ID picture
- Personal interview by the Admission Committee representative.
JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL
REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADE SEVEN
- Grade 6 report card (form 138) with fairly satisfactory marks (75%) in all subjects from a recognized elementary school;
- School’s entrance examination result;
- Certificate of Good Moral Character from the school last attended
- Two (2) copies of birth certificate (one original and one photocopy issued by the National Statistics Office/NSO)
- Two copies of 2 x 2 ID picture
- Personal interview by the Admission Committee reoresentative.
SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADE ELEVEN
- Grade 10 report card (form 138) with fairly satisfactory marks (75%) in all subjects from a recognized junior high school;
- School’s entrance examination result;
- Certificate of Good Moral Character from the school last attended
- Two (2) copies of birth certificate (one original and one photocopy issued by the National Statistics Office/NSO)
- Two copies of 2 x 2 ID picture
- Personal interview by the Admission Committee representative.
TRANSFEREES
REQUIREMENTS FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS
- An applicant must have fairly satisfactory grades (75%) in all subjects in the school last attended;
- Submission of the following:
- Form 138 (Report Card)
- Certificate of Good Moral Character from the school last attended
- Two (2) copies of birth certificate (one original and one photocopy issued by the National Statistics Office/NSO)
- Two (2) copies of 2 x 2 ID picture
- School’s entrance exam result;
- Personal interview by the Admission Committee representative.
- Holy Cross students who enrolled in another school during the previous year or years who wish to return will be considered transferees and will have to comply with the requirements for transfer students.
- Transferees are considered to be on probationary status for every grading period for one school year.
- The Admission Committee is empowered not to accept students/pupils who do not meet the above requirements.
- All enrollees in Pre-School, Elementary and High School are required to take up the foreign language subject, that is, Chinese.
ESC / VOUCHER PROGRAM
Government assistance to students and teachers in private education (GASTPE)
What is ESC?
ESC is a GASTPE program wherein financial assistance (in the form of tuition subsidies) is extended to qualified elementary school graduates who wish to pursue Junior High School (JHS) – Grades 7 to 10 – in private schools.
Requirements
- ESC Application Form
- Recent Identical 2×2 ID photo (2 copies)
- For learners with no learner profile in the Learner Information System (LIS): Certified true copy of Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)
- Certified Birth Certificate
- Grade 6 Report Card
- Latest Income Tax Return for the previous year or Certificate of Tax Exemption or Municipal Certification of Unemployment of Parents/Legal Guardian
*For transferees (Grades 8, 9, 10) who are ESC Grantees, ask for ESC Certificate from previous school.
How much is the ESC grant?
The amount of subsidy given to the grantee at Grade 7 is the same amount the grantee will receive until Grade 10. For this school year (SY) 2020-2021:

SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL VOUCHER PROGRAM (SHS VP)
What is Senior High School Voucher Program (SHS VP)?
SHS VP is a GASTPE program wherein financial assistance (in the form of tuition subsidies) is extended to qualified public and private Grade 10 completers enabling them to enroll for SHS – Grades 11 and 12 – in private and non-DepEd public schools.

- All Grade 10 completers in Public JHSs
- All Grade 10 completers in private schools who are ESC grantees
